This area tells you how much memory (RAM) is occupied or required by the items that are currently active. This area tells you how many items are currently active compared to how many total items are displayed in the list. To select the startup disk for the next time you restart your Macintosh, choose it from this pop-up menu. A volume that appears dimmed in this menu cannot be set as the startup disk because it does not contain a System Folder. To create new Links and modify existing ones, click here. This area displays detailed information about the selected item: its name, version, kind, size, location on your hard disk, memory requirements, and its creator and type.
