A volume that appears dimmed in this menu cannot be set as the startup disk because it does not contain a System Folder.

This area lists any Links that are currently set up to specify dependencies or incompatibilities between startup items. Select a Link name to see its type and the items it includes.

This is the list of items to be loaded at startup.

You can drag an item to change its loading order, and click to the left of an item’s name to toggle it on or off. Holding down the Option key when clicking toggles the entire list on or off.
